The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.) is the way adults join the Catholic Church or complete their Catholic initiation by preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
R.C.I.A. sessions are held in the St. Matthew Parish Rectory bi-weekly from September to early December, and weekly from January through May.
To accomodate people who work different shifts, both an evening and a morning session are offered:
- Wednesdays 7:00-8:30 p.m.
- Fridays 10:00-11:30 a.m.
R.C.I.A. Team Members are fully initiated Catholics, who participate in the sessions with those seeking initiation.
If you want to participate in the R.C.I.A., either as an Initiation Candidate or as a Team Member, please contact Dr. Connie McClanahan at the Parish Office, 232-0880.
